For the past four years, HomeAid Essentials has hosted an annual Builders for Babies Diaper Drive to raise awareness about the increasing need for diapers, wipes, and other significant baby items throughout Southern California homeless shelters. As more and more families find themselves struggling to meet the financial demands of even just the basics, which can add up to more than $550 a year in diapers alone, Toll Brothers is proud to support HomeAid Essentials and their mission to donate diapers and other items to families in need.*

This year’s event, hosted June 7th at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA, brought together Toll Brothers and six other Southern California homebuilders to support the cause and participate in the highlight of the drive – the Builder Diaper Home Competition. For the friendly competition, a team from each homebuilder created a home made almost entirely from diaper boxes. This year, the Toll Brothers team paid homage to the loveable Disney Pixar movie, “Up” by crafting a replica of the famed “Balloon Home” for their design. While the home is captivating enough by itself, don’t forget to check out more homes from this year’s event and vote for your favorite here. Also, feel free to look at some of the homes from past years’ events here.

The drive helped collect more than a million diapers to donate to homeless shelters across Orange County and the Inland Empire. Toll Brothers would like to thank all of the volunteers, homebuilders, sponsors, and especially HomeAid Essentials for making this all possible.

With more than 1,500 families residing in Southern California shelters, there’s still a significant number of families in need. If you’re looking for ways to get involved, head over to HomeAid Essentials to learn how you can volunteer and donate today!
