Unlike interior spaces, outdoor living spaces, walkways, and vegetation are constantly being exposed to your area’s climate. Weather conditions like severe temperatures, humidity, and precipitation can serve as obstacles while building the landscape of your dreams. Fortunately for Toll Brothers’ homeowners, Toll Landscape can adapt to an extensive array of varying climates to design a one-of-a-kind landscape that fits your lifestyle and location. Discover an innovative and refined design as our experts walk you through six considerations to conceptualize for your new build.

Adapting to the Climate

Experienced Toll Landscape designers will work with you to assess your needs, goals, and budget. Once the plans for your landscape are agreed on, designers will begin to create an outdoor environment that suits both your personal preferences and region’s climate.

Climate-Friendly Vegetation

Your region’s climate has a significant impact on which types of flowers and plants grow. Some fare better in warmer, more humid climates while others thrive in cooler, dryer temperatures. Through our long-standing relationships with local growers and nurseries, Toll Landscape offers homeowners a vast selection of flowers and plants that are guaranteed to flourish in your area.

Innovative Irrigation

Your plants and grass will require more or less water depending on your region’s climate. Toll Landscape will stand by you and analyze your plantings to determine the perfect volume and timeframe for your watering, so you don’t have to. All irrigation systems are automatic, providing optimal convenience for you and your landscape.

Safe and Durable Hardscapes

Weather can impact your hardscapes in a number of ways, such as shifting and eroding your outdoor area. To avoid these inconveniences, Toll Landscape is as precise as possible during the installation of your hardscape to prevent any future concern. Our team uses the highest quality of materials to decrease the possibility of a slip or fall, and ensures your safety while you enjoy outdoor living with friends and family.

Adaptable Outdoor Kitchens and Rooms

Not a fan of the cold, but still want to spend time outdoors? Take advantage of your outdoor living space year round with a variety of covered and enclosed options.

Lighting That Withstands the Elements

Who says that a sturdy light fixture can’t enhance your décor? Experience decorative lighting options that can withstand constant exposure to the elements and match your landscape and vision.

No matter your location’s climate, Toll Landscape can create the landscape you’ve always wanted. To learn more about the services and products Toll Landscape has to offer or how you can design the home of your dreams, visit our website today!

I want to build a house in the Charlotte, NC area, but haven’t been able to find a lot that is adaptable to contemporary homes (HOAs!); hence haven’t started looking for a builder. I have many ideas on what I would like to have in this house. If you can help, maybe we should talk: 414-510-9448
